Skarner's damaging spells apply Crystal Venom to enemies for 5 seconds that stacks up to 3 times.

If an enemy has 3 stacks of Crystal Venom, Skarner's next attack will deal additional magic damage and stun the target. Skarner cannot apply Crystal Venom to this target for 6 seconds after he stuns them.

Skarner lashes out with his claws, dealing physical damage to all nearby enemies and charging himself with Crystal Energy for several seconds if a unit is struck. If he casts Crystal Slash again while powered by Crystal Energy, he deals bonus magic damage. Whenever he hits a target with Crystal Slash he gains a stacking buff that increases his Attack Speed for a few seconds. Basic attack reduce this ability's cooldown.

Skarner suppresses an enemy champion and deals magic damage to it. During this time, Skarner can move freely and will drag his helpless victim around with him. When the effect ends, Skarner's target will be dealt additional damage.

Skarner, the crystalline guardian, defends the entrance to a realm deep beneath the Shuriman wastes. The few who survive trespassing his domain describe a creature of terrifying intelligence, anger, and precision. What this merciless creature protects, no one knows.

Tips

Playing as

  • Your basic attacks will reduce the cooldown of Crystal Slash, use basic attacks between Crystal Slashes for maximum damage.
  • Build up Attack Speed with Crystal Slashes against minions to enter a fight with fully ramped up Attack Speed.
  • Impale is extremely powerful when you use it to position an enemy so your allies can attack them.

Playing against

  • Skarner can't harm you very much outside of short range, so stay away from him!
  • Skarner's Movement Speed is increased as long as his shield, Crystalline Exoskeleton, persists. Attack him to lower his speed.
  • Some Skarners will have lots of defensive items, while others may build offensively. Check the items your enemy has to determine how to beat them.
